were Built to do
The first drones were built to kill terrorist,
Osama Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden killed
30,000 people and military were determined
to fine him. They built the first ever drones and sent
them to find him. They found his location but
were not successful. They were shot down by artillery fire.
Yet they found his location and the military sent five navy seals to kill Osama Bin Laden. They were successful and
and Osama Bin Laden is no longer a threat to any other people.
Most Military Drones don't Bomb
When some people hear the word "Drone" they will instantly
think of bombing or shooting. Some Drones do bomb thing but most don't. They Can be used for many different thing such as taking videos of animals or delivering pizza. Or even just flying for fun. Or even going inside a volcano to check when it will erupt. They can be used for lots more things that are not dangerous.

What are Drones
Drones are most likely the most advanced equipment in the field of robotics and electronics. They can also be called UAV's (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). They can come in many different sizes, shapes and different functions. They can either be controlled by remote or control systems from the ground. They are generally used to carry out tasks in which manned flight is considered to be risky. Drones also find use in military services.
How do they work and
and what they are made of.
Drones are made of light materials like aluminum,
the lighter they are the more manoeuvrable they are.
They also have many different wires inside them that
control the flaps on the wings and the elevator on the tail fin.
Also usually on the back of a Drone there is an antenna that
transmits the signal of the pilots operating.
They are equipped with infra-red camera's, and GPS's and other secret systems. They can be controlled by a remote or a
ground cockpit. They can fly at very high altitudes but have a very high price $50 million US dollars for a lager size Drone.
Underwater Drones
One things that they are most used for is
going underwater. Scientists have been
making Drones to go under water before
they were used for war. Scientists use drones
because if you would go in a submarine into
extremely deep places in oceans you would be
crushed like a can. Even if drones would get
crushed the person controlling it would be
fine because they would be above water looking
at a screen that is being transmitted though a
camera. And that how useful they are to
Marine Biologists and Scientists.
