Legend of the Wolf Fang

Lore

Circa 1E 770

X’erin WolfFang (age 20) - Skilled at swordsmanship at a young age he joined the Sword Singers in Yokuda. Like many Redguards, he had to last name, but he received one after an event:
After a day of training, X’erin went to the temple “The Hall of the Virtues of War” hoping to meditate on the aspects of war. To his surprise a large black wolf was there waiting. In this instant, with no weapon or armor, X’erin was at a disadvantage. The wolf lunged forward in attack, and in response X’erin grabbed the wolf as it took him down clawing through flesh and attempting to bite at his neck. With all of his strength, X’erin grabbed the wolf’s fang hoping to push it away. Instead, he broke the wolf’s fang from it’s mouth, and stabbed it repeatedly
All of the commotion caused the older students of the Ansei to show up -- their surprised X’erin stood their, tired and exhausted - but victorious. Because of the feat, he was given the title “WolfFang”.
As for where the wolf came from, it was a test by the Daedric Prince of Hircine who was testing the physical abilities of a Sell Sword compared - as a ‘reward’ X’erin was given Lycanthropy(from the clawing from before) - the first werewolf of his bloodline…
