Marine/Marauder Drop Attack. Build Order: 10/10 -> Build a Supply Depot 12/18 -> Build a Barracks 13/18 -> Build a Refinery 15/18 -> Build and Orbital Command 15/18 -> Build your first Marine 16/18 -> Build your second Supply Depot 16/26 -> Build 2 additional Marines -> @ 100 Gas Build a Factory 18/26 -> Build your second Barracks 18/26 -> Build your second Refinery 18/26 -> Build 3 more Marines 21/26 -> Once the 3 Marines are finished Build Tech Lab on first Barracks -> Once your Factory is complete build a Reactor on Factory and start your Starport -> Once the Barracks tech Lab is complete start producing Marauders, and Research Stim Pack -> @ 100% StarportSwitch Starport onto Reactor and build 2 Medivacs. 2 Gateway. Build Order: 9/10 -> Build a Pylon 13/18 -> Build your first Gateway 14/18 -> Build a Assimilator, once it is finished put 3 probes harvesting gas 15/18 -> Build a Pylon 18/26 -> Build a Cybernetics Core 18/26 -> Build a Assimilator, once it is finished put 3 probes harvesting gas 20/26 -> Build your second Gateway 21/26 -> Research Warpgate Technology from the Cybernetics core. Zealots into Stalker. Build Order: 8/10 -> Build a Pylon 10/18 ->Send out probe to scout your opponent 12/18 -> Bulid a Gateway 14/18 -> Build a Assimilator, once finished add 3 probes to gas 14/18 -> Build a Pylon 15/26 -> Build a Cybernetics core 17/26 -> Build your Second Gateway 18/26 -> Build a Pylon You don't want to straight tech to Stalkers, you'll want 3-4 zealots out first before you start pumping them just in case of early rush. After your cybernetics core is finished and start producing stalkers, once you you have a couple Stalkers / Zealots move in for the quick attack.. Void Ray Rush. Build Order: 10/10 -> Build a Pylon 10/18 -> Build a Gateway 10/18 -> Build an Assimilator, as soon as the Assimilator is finished put 3 Probes harvesting Gas 10/18 -> Send a Probe to scout unit's location if on 2v2 Map. 13/18 -> As soon as the Gateway is finished make Cybernetics Core 14/18 -> As soon as Cybernetics Core is finished build Starport Once your Starport is finished, immediately start building your first Void Ray; set the rally point to your opponent's base. Make sure that you use Chrono Boost on your Starport while your Void Ray is in production. If you are looking to take out their main base, then you will want to wait till you get 2 -- 3 Void Rays so that you can fly right into your opponents base, and take it out.. Gateway + Forge fast expand. The gate+forge fast expand is a very strong and common build that isn't covered by the 2 gate template. The general idea in a gate+forge fast expand is to build your first pylon, gate way, and forge by the choke into your natural, to protect yourself from early rushes, build a cannon or two, and then expand. Build Order: 9/10 -> Build a Pylon 13/18 -> Build a Gateway 15/18 -> Build a Forge 15 /18 -> Build a Pylon Produce any some zealots / cannons if needed 18+ Build a Nexus at your natural expansion You will also want to use the early zealots to put on any kind of pressure you can, but being careful to not be overly aggressive and lose zealots unnecessarily.. One Base Robo Transition. Build Order: 9/10 -> Build and Overlord 14/18 -> Build an Extractor, add 3 drones to it as soon as it is finished. 14/18 -> Build a Spawning Pool 16/18 -> Build an Overlord 16/18 -> Build a Queen 18/26 -> Train Metabolic Boost at your Spawning Pool 18/26 -> Build 2 sets of Zerglings 20/26 -> Build 2 more Drones 22/26 -> Upgrade to Lair as soon as your Queen finishes building 22/26 -> Build another Extractor, add 3 drones to it as soon as it is finished. 22/26 -> Build an Overlord 26/32 -> Produce 3 sets of Zerglings 29/32 -> As soon as your Lair has finished upgrading build a Spire 31/32 -> Build an Overlord 32/32 -> Build at Hatchery at your Natural Expansion 33/40 -> Build a Queen at your Natural Expansion Now save up your resources and than once you have 500 minerals and 500 gas produce 5 Mutalisks and continue production of them.. Baneling & Roach Rush. Builf Order: 10/10 -> Build Drones 12/10 -> Double Extractor Trick to build 2 additional Drones 12/10 -> Build an Overlord 14/18 -> Build an Extractor 15/18 -> Build a Spawning Pool 15/26 -> Build a Roach Warren 15/26 -> Build a Queen 17/26 -> Build a Zergling 17/26 -> Build a Zergling 19/26 -> Build a Baneling Nest 19/26 -> Build an Overlord 19 - 28 -> Build Roaches Once you are ready attack with 4 Banelings and 5 Roaches. The time you should be aiming for is a around 6m 15s Replay Time, and 4m 20s Real Time.. 2 Hatch into Hydralisk. Build Order: 10/10 -> Build and Overlord 10/10 -> Extractor Trick 11/18 -> Build a Spawning Pool 11/18 -> Scout with a drone, if you see your opponent is building for a rush than transition into Speedlings and Roaches, although if he is not going to rush than continue with the build. 14/18 -> Build a Queen, you should build your queen right when your spawning pool is finished. 15/18 -> Build 4 Zerglings and use them to add a little pressure to your opponent 18/18 -> Build an Overlord 18/18 -> Build an Extractor, once it is finished have 3 drones start harvesting. 20/26 -> Expand to your natural expansion Upgrade your main to a Lair as soon as you have your first 100 Gas 24/26 -> Build another Overlord 25/26 -> Build your second Extractor, once it is finished have 3 drones start harvesting Once your Lair is finished build your Hydralisk Den right away, continue to build drones at your natural expansion to saturate it. By this point you should have a good economy going and the ability to start mass producing Hydralisks. You want to make sure that you scout your opponent and see what exactly he us going, it may be a good idea to get a Roaches den and build a couple Roaches to provide meat for your Hydralisks.. Speedling Rush. Build Order: 10 - Spawning Pool 10 - Extractor 10 - Overlord 13 - Queen When start the game you want to build drones till you reach 10 supply, once you're at 10 supply save 200 minerals for a Spawning Pool. Once you started the Spawning pool you need to start an extractor right away and place 3 drones on gas once its finished because you will need 100 gas for the Metabolic Boost once your spawning pool is finished. Right when your Spawning Pool finishes build a queen and then get the Metabolic Boost as soon as you have 100 Minerals & 100 Gas.. 6 Pool Rush. Build Order: 6/10 -> Build a Spawning Pool 5/10 -> Build a Drone 6/10 -> Build a Drone -> @ 100% Spawning Pool build 3 pairs of Zerglings 10/10 -> Build and Overlord 10/18 -> Build a Drone and Queen Alternative Build Order: 6/10 -> Build a Spawning Pool 5/10 -> Build a Drone 6/10 -> Build a Drone 7/10 -> Build a Drone -> @ 100% Spawning Pool build 2 pairs of Zerlings 10/10 -> Extractor Trick 9/10 -> Build another set of Zerglings 10/10 -> Build and Overlord. 10 Pool Rush. Build Order: 10/10 -> Build a Spawning Pool 10/10 -> Build and Overlord 12/18 -> Build a set of Zerglings 13/18 -> Build a set of Zerglings 14/18 -> Build a set of Zerglings. Spine Crawler Rush. The Zerg Spine Crawler Rush is a build which can only be used in a Zerg vs Zerg matchup. Build Order: 8/10 -> Build a Spawning Pool 7/10 -> Build a Drone 8/10 -> Build a Drone & send a Drone to scout your opponent 9/10 -> Build and Overlord 9/18 -> Produce 6 Zerglings (continue making Zerglings) -> When the Zerglings are half way complete send a second drone to your opponents base -> Continue production of Zerglings and rally them to your opponents base. Transitions. 2 Gateway Rush Counter. Build Order: 9/10 -> Build a Pylon 11/18 -> Build a Gateway 13/18 -> Build a Gateway Once you've built your second gateway send your probe to scout your opponent. -> Once you are comfortable with your position build a Assimaltor and Cybernetics core. Continue to produce Zealots and have your Gateways Chrono Boosted at all times, build any additional Pylons when needed. Once you have a couple of Zealots you can start apply pressure to your opponent. Make sure to Hot Key your Gateways so you can continue production of the Zealots while you attack and set the Rally points of your Gateways to your opponents base or your Army.. Transition. Z Vs Z. Build Order: 9/10 -> Build an Overlord 13/18 -> Build a Spawning Pool 13/18 -> Build a Extractor and add 3 drones to it once finished. 16/18 -> Build a Queen 17/18 -> Use Extractor Trick 18/18 -> Build a Roach Warren 17/18 -> Build a Banelings Nest 17/18 -> Build an Overlord They key to this build is to quickly produce Roaches with a couple of Banelings to counter a Speedling attack. If you can hit a group of Speedlings with your Banelings than you can take them out really easily and Roaches are a great counter to them also.. Vs Terran. Vs Protoss. Vs Zerg. Normal. Vs mass Marauders. Medivac + mass Marine/Marauder. Cloacked Banshees. Tank/Viking + Marauders or Marines. Medivac + mass Marins/Marauder. Viking/Banshee --> Battle Cruisers. Marines/Marauders/Tanks + Raven. Fast Medivac + Marine/Marauder for Drop Attack. Viking/Banshee for early attack. Colossus. Immortals.
Terran. Learn the counters to enemy units. Protoss. The Protoss building mechanics are fast: one probe is able to build multiple buildings at once. Protoss has the strongest early game units in the game with Zealots and Stalkers although rely more on their power and the ability to micromanage rather than masses of units. Protoss have the ability to Chrono boost any building along with the ability to Warp units into battle once they upgrade their Gateways to Warpgates.. Zerg. The Zerg is all about numbers: their units are cheap and not very strong but can be made quickly and in the masses. The ability to Macro is very important: you must expand and grow your economy to continue the high production of units to overwhelm your opponent with sheer number of units.. Strength. Weaknesses. Buildings can lift off the ground. Can use nuclear warheads. Sensor Towers see enemies in the fog of war. Heavy armors and good siege capabilities. Supply depot can submerge uderground. Micromanagement od units. Bunkers require much manpower and resources. Motherships and powerful defensive units. Buildings warp themself into play. Probes can build multiple structures. Photon Cannons. Plasma Shields. Warp Prism. Warpgate to warp units into the psionic matrix. Expensive and long building times. Building placed within psionic matrix. Heavy vespene consumption. Cheap units. Land units can burrow underground. Hatchery can build 3 units at a time. Units heal automatically upon creep. Defensive structures can uproot and walk around. Can transport units istantly using the Nydus Worm. Buildings must be built on creep. Weak units.
