The Mindomo Dashboard

When you are logged into Mindomo, your home page shows your Mindomo Dashboard.

On Your Mindomo Dashboard page, you can:

1. Start new maps
2. Choose an existing map to view or modify
3. See a preview of the selected map
4. Search your maps
5. View your maps by category (e.g. your public maps)
6. Organize maps into folders
7. Manage deleted maps (Premium edition only)

The Mindomo Account

To get started with Mindomo, you will need a Mindomo Account. Sign-up is quick, easy and free.

On your Account page, you can:

1. Manage your details
2. Keep track of your subscriptions
3. Upgrade to premium membership for advanced features

The On-Line Editor

Mindomo gives you a flexible visual editor for working with your maps on-line, without installing any software.
Mindomo is intuitive and easy to use, like a simple word processor.

Mindomo features include:

1. The Mindomo button, where you can open and close maps
2. A "ribbon" bar with tabs for the main features
3. A view of the map that you can expand, collapse, and move around
4. Quick buttons for expanding and collapsing the map, and getting help
5. Tabs for editing topic notes, hyperlinks, multimedia and task information
6. Tabs for editing more than one map at a time (Premium edition only), and
7. A slider for zooming in and out
8. Tools for collaborating with other users

Mindomo Desktop

Mindomo has a desktop version that you can use when you are not on-line.
It integrates seamlessly with your on-line maps, and offers the same feature set as Mindomo on-line.
Mindomo Desktop can be used in Microsoft Windows, Linux and MacOS environments.

The public mind map gallery

The online mind map gallery shows public maps created by Mindomo users. You can click on any map and view it in a read-only viewer, without having a Mindomo account.

Maps can be viewed:

1. By most recent, viewed or rated
2. By keyword
3. By language
4. By searching, and
5. By thumbnail image
