The Challenge of Ideas for Social Change:

We have so many ideas for social change. But, they are all useless - unless we become aware that if we don't do anything with them they evaporate into nothing. The question is why this is the case?
It is not that we lack good ideas. The next step is to build what I call is creative tension. We have to constitute a deep emotional understanding of the problem the idea is trying to resolve and the envisioned solution. The greater this perceived gap, the more likely we will act. Hence, we have to show people how to develop this creative tension.
This is where i-Sparks comes in. With a few questions we can help i-Sparks community members identify their true motivation, develop a strong and compelling vision and derive pragmatic project proposals.

This mindmap wants to capture the following:
- why are ideas for social change useless?
- what does it take to grow them into projects for success?
- what would motivate individuals and organizations alike to help grow projects far away from their own environment and yet identify themselves with this project?
- what does it take to inspire individuals and organizations to join the i-Sparks community and becoome an active member and thus spark innovation for social change?
