Women: House work

Men: Provide for the family

Men are more important in the Synagogue

Can only be Rabbis

Can only take place in services

They believe this because:

It is the teaching of the Torah, Talmud and Rabbis

The family is important and can only work if men and women know what their specific roles are.

Women do not have equal roles in religion and men are more important

Men and women have equal rights.

Women and men worship together. Women can be Rabbis.

They believe this because:

God created Adam and Eve equally

The Torah's teachings should be applied to today's society

Denying equal rights in religion is saying that God prefers men

Judaism should reflect modern attitudes
