Stories containing a bit of truth about the strength or incredible deeds of a person usually during the time of Westward expansion in the US that have been exaggerated over time.

Have a lesson or moral at the end.

Stories containing a bit of truth about a heroic person who lived usually in the Middle Ages that have been exaggerated over time.

Stories that explain the creation of the world and its weather and other natural occurances.

Science Fiction
