CONDITIONALS
rConditionals are sentences which contain two situations, one of which depends on the other.
FIRST CONDITIONAL (a probable or possible situation in the Future)
Examples First conditional

If you eat these vegetables,

you´ll play video games.
rThe first part from the sentence must be in Present simple and the second part must be in Future(Will-won´t)
Examples from Zero, First, Second and Third conditional
THIRD CONDITIONAL (a hypothetical situation in the past)

If I hadn´t learnt to play trumpet,

Iwouldn´t have joined my University band.
rThe first part from the sentence must be in Past perfect ( or Past perfect continuous) and the second one will have, would + have + Past participle
ZERO CODITIONAL (a fat in the present)

If you heat the ball into the net in tennis,
rBoth parts from the sentences must be in Present simple.
Instead of (If), it could be changed into (when).
rWe can also use a number of other conjunctions including unless, when, before, after,as soon as, until.

When you heat the ball into the net in tennis,
The order of the sentence above can be changed but now the comma won´t be used.

when you heat the ball into the net in tennis.

SECOND CONDITIONAL (a hypothetical/impossible situation in the present, or a very unlikely situation in the future)

rThe first part from the sentence must be in Past simple and the second one must have, would-wouldn´t.

If I were you , I´d study for the test.
