Parts of a computer

The main part of a computer, can hold everything needed for a PC, such as Ram, the fan, the hard drive, Or SSD, the CPU, ram and alot more. The motherboard can use all these devices to process and run the PC how it should. It works together with all your PC parts so you can have the best experience possible.

This Stick is for multitasking, the more ram you have the more processes you can do at once. This means you can run more tasks at once. Ran is a main part in a computer you need to have in order for it to work.

Ethernet is a way to transfer a internet connection though a cat cable. This is better than wifi because there are no frequency interruptions because its wired and not though a wireless signal that can get interrupted. Ethernet has been around way longer than wifi, and still is used today, because its better than wifi if you are close to your router. This was the way back then computers connected to the internet before wifi. If you want to go old school, we can go all the way back to dial up! haha

A video card is used to transfer what the computer is showing to a external monitor or TV. It can be done with many types of connectors. But with out this part you will not be able to see your computer screen.

The good old keyboard! Its purpose is to use it to type letters on to your screen. This is so needed, as you cannot control your computer without it.

A Microphone is used to record sound from your voice to the computer. This part is not used too much and is not needed as much, as you can always type what you want to say.

A webcams job is to record what you are seeing in the real world. It is commonly used for Skype calls and to record your face when you are talking. This part of your computer is just a extra and is not needed at all.

Headphones are used to put on your ear, so you can hear sound better, and hear tiny details if you invest in good quality ones too. You can use your computer speakers if your not too picky and don't mind the sound quality.

A monitor is used to show what is on your computer, so you can see it. There are many types of monitors and they come in many sizes and resolutions. Old monitors used to use VGA which at one time was the way a computer connected to a monitor. But now most use HDMI which is found everywhere, on Monitors, TVS, and other things to display a screen.

A printer is a simple little Item used to Print a page from the internet to your house. They are used alot still to print pages a and important things that people might need a real copy of, instead of a photo.

An Audio card is used to transfer sound from your PC to speakers or the built in speakers on your laptop, this is needed if you like watching videos or anything that involves sound. There are also ports on it to plug in some great speakers.

Memory Management is a process on your computer that involves working with the CPU and the ram to mange background tasks and other things going on inside of the computer. This is automatically done by your operating system so no need to set up anything! The operating system also tells the CPU and the Ram what do mange and do.

Storage Management is also done by your Operating System too. It works with the hardrive to see how much storage is used, and how much is free so you can know how much space you have, in order to make sure you have the amount of Free-space.

Device Management is also done by your operating system, and what it is in a nutshell, is it manges, and makes sure that all your components in your computer are up to date, and are working how they should. If something is not working right, try to update the device and it might fix the issue.

The user Interface is how your chosen operating System looks to the user. There are tons of different user interfaces out there and there all unique. Some are better than others, and users might prefer one of another because they might be used to how it looks, fells, and works.

Process Management is done by your operating system, and communicates to the CPU, Ram, Disk management, And your internet Traffic though your computer. It tells the operating system, how much of something is being used, and what Program/Other Process is taking those System resources. On a lot of versions of window ten there is a pre installed program called task manger. It can show you what processes are being done in the background of your computer. On a lot Linux Distributions there is a similar pre installed program as well.
