Usamos el primer condicional en inglés para hablar de situaciones que ocurrirán si se da una condición en particular. Esta condición no es segura, pero sí muy probable.
Negative form: If + present simple + will + not + infinitive + complement
If you don't bring your umbrella, you'll get wet.
Si no traes tu paraguas, te mojarás.
If I leave work early enough today, we will go to the theatre.
Si dejo el trabajo lo suficientemente temprano hoy, iremos al teatro.
If it doesn’t rain, we’ll go for a walk.
Si no llueve, saldremos a caminar.
Afirmative Form: If + present simple + will + infinitive + complement
If you go to the shop, buy some cheese. si vas a la tienda, compra queso
If you miss the bus, get a taxi. si pierdes el autobus, toma un taxi
If you have time, call me. si tienes tiempo llamame
interrogative form: Will + infinitive + if + present simple + complement + ?
