Expression Model Project

I believe that as a teacher I have a responsibility to be an example to my students. I work now to develop attributes that I hope to teach them. I hope to teach them that improving and learning is for everyone, not just students. Each student is first a human in my classroom and deserves to be treated as one by me and their fellow classmates. When my students know that I personally care about them, they will then be willing to listen to what I teach them. My goal is to instill a love of learning in all of students. With the foundation of a desire to learn, my students will be able to be independent in their education. This will lead them to continue learning outside of my classroom.

Goals that I have completes:Take Dual Enrollment credits so that I have to pay less for school and so that I am aheadGet into the Elementary Education major at ASULearn what my future will look like as a teacher

Teacher: One who teaches.Teach: To help others to learn.This definition is vague on purpose. Teachers are not only people who lecture in classrooms. They are the people that teach by example. They are YouTubers, podcasters, and Streamers that people listen to and learn from. With every human interaction comes some form of learning. We are all teachers now and need to be conscious of what we are teaching others and what we are allowing ourselves to learn.

Why do I want to be teacher? I have found that I am most comfortable around children and that most children are comfortable around me. I am hopeful that my life will never be boring with 30 children to look after every day. I have found that I am a patient person and hope that it will aid in my effectiveness as a teacher. I have always had a love for learning that I believe every child deserves. I think as a teacher I will be able to help them develop these attributes.
