Some people think that Vanilla Ice copied Queen but others think he is justified by saying that it's a new/different riff. There have been many other musical controversies featuring similar music bars featured in different songs. An example of this could be John Lennon's "Imagine" and "Don't Look Back in Anger" by Oasis.
I think there's a fine line when it comes to original work and copying in music and I know some artists can either be really upset or really chill about other songs that have the same effect as "Ice Ice Baby" versus "Under Pressure".
