Some examples of "quizzes" I can think of--could be done by individuals or groups:listing three examples of functions of one governmental branch (social studies)examples of design elements (art)- and add an image!examples of complex sentences (grammar)a definition for each term with a link to a web site showing an exampleexamples of literary devicesstory maps of stories the class has read- students fill in the story map elementsetc.Have students do a Save AS with their initials on the quiz name so you can access and grade. Always have them SAVE AS before doing the answers and again at the end!
In social studies class or in a foreign language, using vocab to explain relationships or describe the people!
