Charging an Object:
3 different ways to charge an object are friction, conduction and induction. Friction is rubbing 1 material with another material resulting in electrons moving from 1 surface to another. Conduction is used to charge materials that are good conductors & some of the charge- positive or negative will be transferred. Induction is when a charged object is brought near but it isn’t to be touched by the other object making the presence of a charged object near a neutral conductor safe.

Difference between static & current electricity:
Static electricity has the charges at rest but in current electricity, the electrons are moving only inside the conductor. Also, static electricity develops in a conductor and insulator while current electricity only develops in a conductor.

Comparison of conductors and insulators:
The difference between conductors and insulators is that while conductors allow the free flow of electrons from one atom to another, insulators don’t let electrons’ free flow occur. Conductors have high conductivity while insulators have low conductivity.

Electric Circuit and its Function:
An electric circuit is an object that controls the electric current to execute various functions like signal amplification. The components include resistors, transistors, capacitors, inductors and diodes.

Electrical quantities, their symbols & how it is measured using an ammeter & voltmeter
Some electrical quantities are A for electric current, V for voltage and W for watt and electric power. A voltmeter is used for measuring electrical differences between 2 points in an electrical circuit meaning it measures the voltage while an ammeter is connected to measure the current of the electrical object.
