Exponents
Exponents is when you multiply a number by itself several times.
Eg. 4 to the power of 3 or 4 cubed equals 64
4 x 4 x 4 = 64
Expanded form
The base is the number that is getting multiplied
together it is 5 to the power of 3
the exponent is what it is getting multiplied by
which is 125
Number can be cubed or squared
cube multiplied by itself 3 times
Although the number can be cubed or squared those art the only possible ways to use exponents
you can use almost any number as your exponent
squared multplied by itself
E.g. 4 to the power or two = 4 x 4 = 16 = four to the power of two is 16
