I have created a mind map for students. This is a subject that is easily confused by students. I hope by the videos and explanations that I provided students will be able to distinguish better between all of these.
Mean is the average of a group of numbers. Add all the numbers together and take the total, divide by the numbers of numbers in the problem. That is the average of a group of numbers.

The median is the middle value of a group of numbers. The numbers need to be placed in order from smallest to largest. Count how many numbers there are determine the middle number. One way to figure this is: The numbers of data points +1 then divide by 2.
The mode is the number that appears the most often in a group of numbers. If there is not a number that is repeated, then there is no mode.
