Cultural Relativism- Ideas,values,knowledge,behaviour,feelings eating habits,dressing ...must be understood within their culture context.
Conceptual Relativism- Several formulations of idea that truth, or existence, is some how relative to conceptual schemes
Descriptive
Members of at least some different groups, Eg:Some culture , community, biological species have interestingly different sets of central concepts.
Normative
Moral rightness and wrongness of actions varies from society to society.No absolute universal moral standards binding on all men at all times.
Alethic Relativism- What is true for one individual or social group may not be true for another
Individualistic Moral Relativism- Idea that values vary from person to person Everyone has their own set of morals
A view that atleast some truths or values apply to all times,places ,social and cultural frameworks
They are UNIVERSAL
Absolutism is necessary for rationally grounded morality -Kant
It is wrong to lie even to save an innocent person "To be truthful in all deliberations is a sacred thing"
