Binary Antonyms:
The positive of one lexical item
presupposes the negative of
another.

Gradable Antonyms:
The positive of one lexical item
does not presuppose the negative of
another.
-They're relative; the opposition needs
to be drawn between similar items

Converse Antonyms:
A relationship of opposites from
alternative viewpoints.
Multiple Incompatibles:
Opposition is drawn between a set of
more than two lexical items.
