This is a Atomstack laser engraver kit for home use. In the kit, you get parts and hardware to make a fixed focus CNC laser engraver, including frame, power adapter, wire tie, touch screen components, and tool kit. The laser takes 30W input and outputs 5W. It can engrave on soft surfaces such as wood, paper, plastic, or leather. It can cut thin pieces of wood, boxboard, or cardboard. It has a maximum cutting size of 400mmx410mm. Also included in the box are safety goggles, a sheet to protect your table, and a paper manual. The laser works with LaserGRBL software, a free download.I find this laser engraving machine quite capable. I have tried several other similar laser engravers. What makes this one stand apart from the others is that it has a knob for adjusting the height of the laser. That makes it much easier to work with than similar lasers where you have to adjust the laser height with hex screws. The laser does a good job an engraving details. It took me about 45 minutes to put the kit together, but I had practice from putting together a similar kit before. My first kit had about the same instructions (very limited), and it took me 90 minutes to put together. Overall, this laser engraver kit is a great way to get started with home laser engraving.Atomstack A5 M50 ProSince this is a laser engraver, it will produce smoke obviously especially with wood products and do recommend using a high-grade fume extractor or a way to clean air so it does not trigger the smoke detector.Otherwise, I will use this in an open space such as the garage or outside even or where you can push the air out the window as the deeper and slower the engraving you perform, the more smoke it will obviously produce.Atomstack A10 Pro
