Definitions of Processes of Memory

1. the first stage in processing information in which it is the process of translating info into a form that will be retained in memory/stored.

2. the second stage in processing information in which it is the process of maintaining information over time

3. the third stage in processing information in which it is the process of recovering info from memory storage and returning it to conscious thought
