Earth
It is known as a goldilocks planet because it is perfect for living mammals and other creatures. Our sun has a very big appetite. The Earth is not flat but not perfectly round either. The Earth about 70% of the earth is water.
Mercury
Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system its only
a little bit bigger than the moon. Despite being the smallest its the fastest planet. Mercury is one of the ringless planets
Venus
Venus is earths closest neighbour, and often called
earths twin because they are similar in size. Venus is the hottest plant in the solar system. Also one day on Venus is 243 days on Earth.
Jupiter
Jupiter is a gas giant. It has 80 moons and some rings.
The days on Jupiter are only 10 hours long. One year on Jupiter is 12 years on Earth.
Saturn
Saturn is very large. It can float in water because of all
its gas. The huge ring around Saturn is not solid because
its made up of a lot of gasses.
Uranus
Uranus was the first planet found with a telescope
in 1781. It is the coldest planet in the solar system. it is a ice giant. It has rings.
Neptune
Neptune is an ice giant. It has 7 rings.
Also is has 6 moons. Its atmosphere is made up of mostly molecular hydrogen, atomic helium, and methane.
In black holes the gravity is so strong
not even light can escape. some holes continue 10x the mass of the sun.
most stars are red dwarfs, they twinkle because of
the earths atmosphere. the closest star to earth is Proxima Centauri.
the sun is 4.5 billion years old. the sun light reaches the earth
light in 8 minutes. many ancient civilizations thought the sun was a god.

moon because of a explosive collision. It smells like gun powder and you can always see the same sides.
There are millions of asteroids in space.
Asteroids are rich in minerals and water the total mass of all asteroids in the asteroid belt combined is less than the earths moon.
