2012
When I was 2, I got really sick, and I was turning yellow so they took me to London Sick kids, they wanted to do a biopsy, but they gave me an anaesthetic that I was allergic to, and I wouldn't come out of my sleep. So they sent me to Toronto sick kids, when I got there they found out what was happening to me, I had a liver disease, Autoimmune hepatitis, so I had to stay in the hospital for 3 months until I got better and put me on my meds.
In 2012 There was a ship wreak in Costa Concordia, the date was 13th of January. The caption of the ship lied to the coast guard to keep the rescuers away, and ordered passengers away from 'muster stations' delaying evacuation. The ship went down after it struck off rocks, in the coast of the Giulio in the Tyrrhenian Sea.32 people died because of the wreck. The captain also abandoned his ship.
The reason why I picked the Costa Concordia ship wreak because, I love the sea, but it can be very dangerous place so you have to be very careful. But I also have a lot of memories at the beach, with my family. That's why I picked the Costa Concordia.
The reason why I picked my liver disease is that it's one thing I have to think about every day to make sure I take my meds and be careful.
2010
In 2010, I was born at Woodstock hospital, the date was April 10th. My parents decided to name me Olivia, and I had a sibling named Mikyla, who thought I was going to be a boy.
In 2010 there was an oil leak in deep water horizon. The oil leak happened because there was an explosion on the deep water Horizon drilling a platform. 11 workers died from the oil spill. The oil spill lasted for 87 days and hurt marine life, and it was very dangerous to eat seafood because of the oil spill.
The reason why I picked this topic is that didn't know how dangerous an oil leak can be, and I just find it very interesting because the oil leak that was spilled in 2010 it still hurts the marine life.
The reason why I picked the day of my birth because it's a very special day for me, if that day had not existed I wouldn't be here.
2016
In 2016, I found out what I want to be when I'm older, a doctor, I've always wanted to be a doctor since the day I remember, and I still want to be one.
In 2016 Harriet Tubman appeared on the 20 dollar bill. Harriet Tubman was best known as the enslaved woman who brought emancipation to anyone who brought her path. Harriet Tubman fought for woman's rights. She established a nursing home for African Americans on her property in Auburn, NY. Tubman nearly died as a young girl after a traumatic head injury. The rest of her life, she suffered from seizures and pain for the rest of her life.
The reason why I wanted to be a doctor is that, ever since I was young, I was surrounded by doctors, and I've seen them work and right to. Right then and there, I knew I wanted to be a doctor.

The reason I picked Harriet Tubman, is because iv'e always liked history so much, and I remember learning about Harriet Tubman, and I remember finding it interesting. That is why I picked Harriet Tubman.
2015
In 2015, I got my first dog, chico, he is a tea cup Chihuahua, and he is alive, he is old and crusty. But I still love him. He is black and white, and he is very lazy.
2015 in New Zealand the remnants of a cyclone Pam move down the east coast of New Zealand causing evacuations, heavy flooding, and power outages. Over 140,000 land slides were mapped following the cyclone. Numerous roads across the north island were closed due to flooding and high winds. A cyclone is a large mass that rotates around a strong centre of low atmospheric pressure, counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere, as viewed above. Cyclone Gabrielle made history as the costliest tropical cyclone in the Southern Hemisphere, causing more than $8bn in damages. At least 11 people died when the cyclone swept across New Zealand.
The reason why I picked my first dog for 2015, is because Chico is my first animal, and i have so many memories with him.
The reason why I picked the New Zealand cyclone, is that I find natural disasters fascinating, even though it can hurt anyone.
2017
In 2017, I broke my ankle on my birthday. I was on my trampoline and my sister said "let's bounce all together" so we did and when we did, I landed on my ankle wrong, then I spent the rest of my birthday in the emergency room
In 2017 hurricane Harvey happened. For hurricane Harvey, the preparation time was under 50 hours, this short window of time meant that many people were unprepared to handle this storm when it hit. After Harvey, the Huston landscape had sunk as much as 2 cent meters. Over 160,000 homes were flooded during hurricane Harvey.
The reason why I picked my broken ankle, is because that was the first time I have ever broken something, and it was on my birthday, and when I came home my sister decorated the house and gave me a bunch of presents because she felt bad.
The reason why I picked hurricane Harvey, is that I like hurricanes and how they happen, and also I found it cool that the Huston landscape sunk just over 2 cent meters. That is why I picked hurricane Harvey.
