Rise Of Hitler

From 1919 to 1933 Hitler served Germany in WWI. After this Hitler becomes more involved with German politics.
- Hitler chooses the "SVASTIKA" symbol for his Nazi party. This symbol represents both creation and destruction.
- Hitler became Germany's leader in a time were Germany were struggling.
- Hitler came to power as a fascist dictator on 1933.
- Hitler's plan was as leader of Germany was to bring back Germany what they lost through the Treaty of Versailles and make Germany the most powerful nation in the world.

The fourth reason for WWII is rise of the Nazi party. Hitler provided Germans with work in factories making weapons, explosives and making new cars. This made Hitler and the Nazi party very popular.
The fifth reason for WWII is the failure of the leauge of nations. Leauge of nationas was implemented to solve disagreements between countries peacefully. Now we all know how that turned out. Germany betrayed this and ended up just starting war anyways.
The sixth reason for WWII is appeasement. Appeasement cause WWII because it just gave Hitler more power. It gave Hitler a chance to make Germany a stronger country. Everyone thought that showing Germany appeasement would prevent WWII but it didn't.
The first cause of WWII is the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles caused WWII because it outraged Germany. This was not good because Germans would want to obviously get revenge for what they lost.
The second cause of WWII is the Economic Conditions. The great depression hurt North America and Europe. Germany had to borrow money to finance for they're fine. Unemployment rates were higher than ever at 50%!
The third reason for WWII the rise of Dictatorship. Dictatorship took control of several European countries after WWI. The most popular dictators are Hitler and
Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler
Appeasement
The two reasons for Appeasement:
1.Everyone wanted to avoid War at all costs.
2. British Prime minister signed a deal with Hitler to not begin another war.
Firstly, the appeasement treatment was put on Germany in hopes that it would stop them from starting WWII. This is because no one wants to go through the same struggles, they faced in WWI. The loss of family members and the great depression.
Secondly, the British Prime minister at the time Neville Chamberlain "confirmed" that there will be no WWII. But what he didint know is that Hitler was lying. Churuchill knew this all along and warned everyone about the incoming WWII. The morale of this story is be careful who you trust.
Famous Battles of WWII
Miracle at Dunkirk (May 27, 1940 - June 4, 1940)
The Germans were closing in on the allied forces, on the beach of Dunkirk.
British boats came to the rescue and brought they're soldiers to Dunkirk and saved 338,00 men from the German attacks.
The Phony War (September 1939-1940 April)
The Phony War is considered one of Hitler's biggest mistakes during WWII. France and Britain declared war on Germany.
Hitler was over confident and asked Britain and France if they'd like to re-consider they're decision.
This was a mistake by Hitler because it gave France and Britain time to prepare for what was to come.
D Day (June 6 1944)
130 000 British, American and Canadian troops setteled in Noormandy,France.
Within a month more than 1 million people died in this battle.
The Holocaust
(Hebrew for "Burnt Offerings")
Hitler wanted to get rid of every Jew living in Germany. The original plan for the execution of Jews was to shoot and kill them all, but that was too stressful. The Nazi party eventually created these "death camps" for the Jews.
There were 3 stages of the holocaust.
EDUCATION- Through propaganda and speeches
SEGREGATION- Jews got all freedom rights taken away. Such as citizenship, may not own businesses and they cant attend the movies.
EXTERMINATION- Concentration camps and death camps.
