Decline of feudalism in Europe

land but the king still had their own army.

Commoners had more power and importance because they became the kings army. So that meant that commoners had more rights.

New weapons were introduced and changed the style of warfare. For example the English long bow and the cannon.

great affect on the knights. That was not the only thing that affected the war. Another fact was that the long bow had good accuracy and it could take out other soldiers easily.

The introduction of cannon during the 100 year war made the need for castles useless. A fact about the cannon was that it wasn't a requirement to put cannon balls, when people ran out of cannon balls people put random stuff in there like silverware.

There was a warrior tht was a woman and her name was Joan of Arc, she lead a victory in a battle after she died because of the enemies her death helped to further motivate the french. Because of her there was a rise of nationalism in Europe

People started to fight for there kings instead for there feudal lord. Power and prestige of the french increased and introduction of new weapons changes the history of warfare.
