WAYS OF RESPONDING TO ERRORS

Errors are very common when learning a new language, that is the reason why teachers must be comprehensive and patient.

One way of responding to errors is by pointing out the error directly and give an explanation of why the utterance is incorrect.

Another way can be by not mentioning the error directly, but explaining the rule which corresponds to the error, so the student can make his/her own corrections.
