Sound: Movement of energy through substances. Sound moves in waves and causes substances to vibrate.
Kinetic: Motion energy where the energy is stored in an object. As the object moves faster more energy is stored.
Light: A form of magnetic radiation. Light is made of photons which occur when an atom heats up. Light travels in waves.
Chemical: Stored in atoms and molecules. It is the energy of the particles that are held together.
Electric: Movement of electrons. Electrons that move along a wire are electricity. Lightning is another electric energy.
