Odysseus
Odysseus was ruler of Ithaca. He help the Greeks defeat the Trojans. Odysseus character was describes as heroic. He was a true leader and did whatever he had to in order to get back home."But all the gods pitied him except Poseidon; he remained relentlessly angry with godlike Odysseus, until his return to his own country," (Lines 19-21).

Odysseus is the protagonist. Odysseus is considered a great hero because so much happened to him on his journey back to his kingdom; but he kept going. He was also heroic because he did whatever he had to do to save his men.
Change
Odysseus character would be considered dynamic, because throughout his journey home, he had to adapt and change. For example, in the story Odysseus had to live away from home for twenty years. When he was fighting the Trojans, he was one way, but once he started on his journey home, he had to live on an island for quite sometime, so he had to adapt and change to live on that island until he could leave.
Conflict
There are several conflicts in the story that represent external and internal conflict. One example of external conflict would be when Odysseus had to live on Calypso island for a while. Another would be when Odysseus had to figure out a way to defeat the cyclops. An example of internal conflict would be when Odysseus misses his family and when he looses some of his men, because he has to deal with that while trying to finish his journey and make it back home.

Job is the protagonist. He was a true hero because he was a loyal and honest man. Job was a very righteous man who truly served God. Throughout the story, Job was faced and tested with so many obstacles. His trials were unbelievable, but he kept his faith in God.

Job character was static. He stayed the same throughout the entire story. throughout all of his obstacles he stayed faithful to the lord and he kept his peace.-The LORD has given and the LORD has taken. May the LORD’s name be blessed,” (Job 1:21)-"Life and kindness you gave me, and Your precepts my spirit kept." (Job 10:12)
Conflict
Job struggles with both. The external conflict was caused by the adversary because he was causing all of these terrible things to happen in Job life. The internal struggle in the story was Job having to keep his faith and remain faithful to the lord through all of his trials he was going through even when his wife and friends and wife were telling him to do other things.
