Who are the Anishinaabe?

The Anishinaabe really enjoyed music they traditioally would play flutes and drums. There were also Pow Wow singers and dancers but also just other singers and dancers. People like Leonard Summer he sings music such as country, blues and hip pop, his songs reflect his life as an Anishinaabe person. Pranathi

The people of Anishinaabeg were also active amazing sport players with people like, Steve Collins who is a ski jumper. As well as many different authors and novelists with people such as, Richard Wagamese he is a writer, a guide and a author who does fiction tales. There are many different people and other jobs too that the Anishinaabe did! Pranathi

The treaty lands are The First Nations and Government also the different provinces decide how they can share the land and what are the rules. The Anishinaabe of what we can find had the treaty with Northern Minnesota at The United States. Zachary

The Anishnaabe speak Anishinaabemowin Ojibwe is also considered similar to Anishinaabemowin. Zachary

Where did they live and did they migrate in Canada?

Their origin history takes place in Anishinaabeg it is on the northeast coast, which is now Canada and The United States. They did migrate to Lake Superior. Which sometimes is referred to as "The Great Migration". Pranathi

What is the Indigenous history?

The Indigenous history they were all respecting nature in a way. The Anishinaabe would use "The Seven Grandfather Teachings". "The Seven Grandfather Teachings" are "love, respect, bravery, truth, honesty, humility and wisdom". The other First Nations would use something similar. This would also include playing flutes and drumming. They would also sing and dance too, even making crafts one example would be moccasins. Were they friendly to the environment?

The Anishinaabe seem to really respect the land. The Anishinaabe uses "the Seven Grandfather Teachings" of "love, respect, bravery, truth, honesty, humility and wisdom". The Anishinaabe were somewhat fishers, gatherers and hunters. In the winter the Anishinaabe would hunt and catch food. As well as collect plants and farm them when the plants can grow. They tell stories to the generations and show them their history, celebrations such as pow wow, pow wow is a celebration everyone can sing, eat, dance and sell their art work too. The land gives them resources but they also believe it shares a story of its own. Mohammad

What did they do for entertainment?

The Anishinaabe did many things for entertainment such as some we listed on who the Anishinaabe were. They are very artistic people and making baskets, regalia(traditional wear) and beading etc. Celebrations such as pow wow, pow wow is a bright celebration everyone can come singing, eating, dancing and sell their art work too! The Anishinaabe are a artistic group! The Anishinaabe made art pieces which were usually made out of porcupine quills. They would usually make ash baskets. But after European settlers arrived there was differences. The Anishinaabe used The Europeans trades of cloth, beads and many more to use. They then started making things like moccasins. Anishinaabe artist's include someone like Norval Morrisseau a lot of people know his work in the"Woodland School" style(a x ray of diffrent types of natural things like a example is I see a lot of animals.) which he created.
