Gilgamesh and The Odyssey

The odyssey consists, of the mythical conflict with Greeks. This story is about powerful individuals in civilization between war. The war had some, of the fighters to be winners, and some failures. The Odyssey dates back thousands of years before time. Eighth Century B.C.E. The journey back home.

Protagonist is Odysseus; because he is always believing, in his return home. He is hoping to return and put his household back in its original order. Odysseus use a bow as his choice weapon, and this bow shoots from a long distance, at his point of target. He also wins in a fight against Polyphemus who was also named Noman

Odysseus and his men fight off the suitors killing all of them. He made the women who was sleeping with the men clean up the after mass. The slaughter of aviators. Odysseus was upset, and disgusted with the beggars. Odysseus step up and showed his identity to all of them after the battering and killing of the antinous.

King Gilgamesh as antagonist. Gilgamesh started out at the beginning ruthless. He rings terror on all the people of URUK, by lusting after virgin women, attacking other warrior’s young daughters, and encountering brides, as they take their husbands. Ishtar is also another antagonist Goddess. Ishtar, she made advances toward King Gilgamesh and he rejected her offer to marry her. She was enraged after his rejection and unleashed the Bull of Heaven to kill Gilgamesh.

MKing Gilgamesh encountered a wild beast or man Enkidu who was tamed to love and united to become brothers. Gilgamesh stop his terror on the people, of URUK, and become good, after the brotherhood with Enkidu. They were united in a great bond; when they were in battle, involving the death of Humbaba. The king thought, he could do whatever he wants to people, could certainly change when he met a fighter, that was just as great as he was.
