Globalization

Countries such as India, Bangladesh, China and many
other countries have sweatshops with underpaid labor workers. With the purpose of these sweatshops being to mass produce things like clothes or cheaply made items for big companies in other countries to resell for much more, such as the U.S.

Globalization has aided deforestation and the huge consumption of fossil fuels and natural resources. With one of the main and biggest examples being the Deforestation issues happening in the Amazon Rain Forest, which is at an all time high.

due to the low labor cost in foreign countries, and due to this, many companies hire customer support representatives in foreign countries that are unexperienced. Since the wages are so low, many greater experienced customer support workers are laid off due to the cheap costs in other countries

During the start of the covid lockdowns Canada was caught with insufficient amount of proper medical supplies. For quite a while Canada relied on the U.S, China, Mexico and Germany for approximately 65% of their medical equipment. But because of the pandemic Canada was placed at the end of a extremely large que in order to receive their medical supplies, this would have lead to thousands of lives being lost had it not been for the actions of the minister of Public Services and Procurement.

An example of this would be how illegal firearms enter Canada. nearly 85% of all illegal fire arms siezed by Ontario police where imported to Canada from the united states of America. The firearms are often transported within large trucks that are also transporting different types of goods or they are in vehicles that also contain other criminals.

An example of this would be Hollywood. The American entertainment and media industries hold so much influence on the world. Our TV shows and movies are exported all over the globe carrying and exposing people to western culture and its values. Since there is just so much of this media everywhere it eventually starts to drown out other smaller local cultures and values which leads to those cultures being loss or extinct.

Examples of this would be online learning forums such as google classroom/ meets, reddit, Kahn academy. Another example would foreign exchange programs where they bring students from different parts of the world to teach them.

Recently, India landed the first ever spacecraft
on the dark side of the moon. Along with this success, India has refused to give any help to other countries or leaders on to how they did it with such a low budget (under 80 million). This was all possible due to the ISRO's previous collaborations with other space agencies and international partners which have allowed have allowed the ISRO to access technology, and resources that contribute to its space exploration efforts.

Big technology companies like Wipro and Infosys have established in the city of Bangalore (Bengaluru), India, and this has led to a significant jump in opportunities for jobs in the technology sector in India.

An example of foreign investments would be the Nike company. Nike is originally an American company but branched out into china which has many consumers and is currently dominating the Chinese sports apparel market .

A current example of this would be the support Morocco is currently receiving after its devastating 6.7 magnitude earthquake. There is currently 4 countries providing aid to Morocco those countries being Spain, United kingdom, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The Morocco earthquake took place only 3 days ago on the 8th of September and yet they had already began to receive aid only a few hours after it was safe enough to send in the rescue teams.

An example of this would be the infamous "Prime" energy drink. This energy drink was originally only available in the UK. But due to globalization, it has made its way to many other countries, such as the U.S, Canada, Mexico etc.
