1.Spreading awareness of events happening in remote places

Situation of COVID-19 in India: India is placed second in the number of COVID-19 cases and are setting new records in daily number of cases and deaths. Because of this, there is a huge shortage of beds and oxygen cylinders. So, all thanks to globalization, people from other countries are funding towards India for helping them fight against COVID-19.

Global Warming: Because of Globalization, it might be more easier to tackle global warming as it helps in spreading awareness to different countries.

1. The Environment

Globalization has an negative impact on the environment. The massive development of transport that has been the basis of globalization is also responsible for serious environmental problems which include greenhouse gas emissions, global warming and air pollution.

Example(s) - Due to globalization various chemicals have been thrown into the soil which has resulted in the growth of many harmful weeds and plants. This toxic waste has caused a lot of damage to plants by interfering with their genetic makeup. In several parts of the world, mountains are being cut to make way for a passing tunnel or a road/highway.

2. Jobs, Labor Market

Globalization may contribute to income disparity and inequality between the more-educated and less-educated members of society.

Example- The garment industry in Bangladesh employs about four million people, but the average worker earns less in a month than a U.S. worker earns in a day.

3. Threat to the worlds cultural Diversity

Globalization is viewed by many as a threat to the world's cultural diversity.

Example- An example of this is that a Hollywood film is far more likely to be successful worldwide than one made in India or China, which also have thriving film industries.
