When you discipline, do not argue with your child's feelings or state why they did wrong or what punishment would have been appropriate if they hadn't made mistakes.

Give your child a chance to have input in decisions that affect them, and be sure that the time you spent talking about the decision has been well spent.

Avoid the habit of showing children anything on the screen during conversation

Set limits on the time of using computer/laptop as per their age and energy level.

Be strict when it comes to usage of computer and internet

Make sure computer is stored in a secure place like home safe

Keep the passwords private and secure.
