Examples: Automobiles Printers Appliances Robotic Equipment

Multi-User Network

Operating System that is installed on Network servers.

Examples: Windows Server Mac OS X Linux

Single-User, Multi-Task

Operating System that allows moer than one task to be running at the same time.

Examples: Windows 7 Mac OS X

Single-User, Single-Task

Operating System that can only do one task at a time.

Examples: Non-Smart Phones
