My idea for a new scrubber for geothermal wells

thay can be used on other sites than geothermal

thay can be used for oil,natral gas,wood,coal

Sulfur dioxide emissions

acid rain

acid rain is formed by chemicals breaking down in the atmosphere and falls down as precipitation such as snow, rain, sleet, hail.

some type of substance’s pH drops below normal

acidification of the soil

the soil's pH is below normal by acidic compounds seeping into the soil

destruction of foiest area

the forest area is destroyed by the soil being acidic, the water source is contaminated with a acidic substance, the leafs are destroyed by acid precipitation.

geothermal wells

wells that generate electricity by hot water turning into steam and powering a turbine from underground reservoirs.

whare to find geothermal sites

where ever magma is close to the surface, an water is trapped near the site, hot dry rock that is near the surface, or where hot water escapes.

sulfur dioxide

sulfur dioxide can be mixed with water to make sulfurous acid or it oxidizes to make sulfur trioxide.

a less corrosive acid than sulfuric acid

sulfur trioxide is formed from the oxidization of sulfur dioxide

sulfur trioxide mixed with water will make sulfuric acid

sulfuric acid

sulfuric acid is used for many things and it will cause destruction of tissue

replace the scrubber for sulfur

you use trees or plants that absorb sulfur in the smokestack for the scrubbers

we make the room with the plants at the same angle as the smokestack

we have the smokestack at a angle that leads to the flat room with the plants

we put in fans that pump the contaminated air to the room with the plants. the electricity will come from the site.
