The uses?

Used to find if a patient has medial conditions such as heart disease, brain abnormalities, cancer spread, infection. bone and thyroid disease.

MRI Scans

To diagnose spinal cord injury, brain, and nervous system disorders.

Used to view bone. muscle, tumors and blood vessels.

They are used to see if you have a broken or fractured and can also be used for bone deficit disorders.

How the different tools are used for diagnostics?

PET procedures

Patients are injected with a low dose of radiation known as radio-pharmaceutical that is traced by the PET scanner.

MRI scans

Uses magnetic field instead of radiation.

They are more detailed and can view organs and soft tissue.

Is a form of electromagnetic radiation that has a high beam that passes into the soft tissue and not passing through. The tissue is shown as a light gray and the bone is shown as white.
