cons: you could make a fool of yourself and your problem and you could just not get any support making it a waste of time

pros: a lot of people hear about you and you reach a wider group of people

contact the local paper or news and tell them about your problem and ask if they would be willing to interview you

just make a website that talks about your problem and what your doing to solve it
