Exemptions:

This type of legal immunity provides exemptions for foreign ambassadors from most of the United States criminal laws.

This type of immunity works to protect government agencies from lawsuits, unless the government agrees to the lawsuit.

Immunity here works to protect public officials from liabilities they might incur from the decisions they make.
