Simple Past Tense
SIMPLE PAST TENSE
Structure
Subject + Verb in past form + complement + specific time (yesterday, # days ago).
I played videogames yesterday.
Simple past is used to describe an action that occured and was completed in the past.
Irregual Verbs
There's no an specific rule for irregular verbs you have to memorize them.
Regular Verbs
When the verb ends in -e you only have to put -d
hope ----> hoped
when the verb ends in -y you have to change the -y for -i and add -ed.
cry ----> cried
dirty ----> dirtied
you have to add -ed to the base form of the verb.
E.g
Work ----> Worked
Watch ----> Watched
What did you do yestarday?
