STORYTELLING

It can be related to students' experiences

Students get more motivated when real experienes are told

It is a way of sharing experiences

It is the oldest form of education

It was the way in which cultures, beliefs , history and tradition was passed from on generation to another.

We all have the capacity of storytelling

It is an innate ability

Teachers should consider storytelling as a tool

It creates a stronger connection between teller and listener

It produces eye contact

It is easier to remember

It gives the teller the freedom of acting, playing with face expressions, gestures and body language.

It is not the same as reading a story

It estimulates students' imagination

It calls students' attention and makes them concentrate more in the class and topic

It increase students' motivation
