The Present Perfect Tense

It has different uses

It's used for past actions that have effects on present

It has three forms

Interrogative

Have I played?

I have played

It's made up of the auxiliary have + the past participle of the main verb

The past participle of the irregular verbs has to be studied, taking into account the verb paradigm

The past participle of the regular verbs is made up by adding the suffix -ed to the base form

It's one of the past tenses
