Adam Chandler

Childhood

Adam grew up in Houston, Texas, and is a graduate of George Washington University and the MFA Creative Nonfiction Program at Sarah Lawrence College. He has lectured and presented at panels at Columbia, NYU, Sarah Lawrence College, and George Washington University.

Future

Adam's book 99% Perspiration is planned to drop some time in 2024 he also plans to continue writing books for his growing audience.

Life

Before becoming an author Adam worked for The Atlantic with his work also showing up in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Texas Monthly, New York Magazine, Slate, Esquire and elsewhere.

Adams book "Drive True Dreams" won NPR favourite book of the year, Amazons book of the year and Smithsonian's Best food book of the year

Adam has appeared across television, radio, and digital platforms including three seasons of The History Channel’s The Food That Built America as well as Modern Marvels, CBS Sunday Morning, Hardball with Chris Matthews, National Geographic’s The ‘80s, BBC’s World News America and Context, and NPR’s Morning Edition, Planet Money and more
