THE GLOBE THEATRE

Special effects with fire were used

From 2 o' clock in the afternoon until the evening

For this reason it was destroyed in 1613

It was rebuilt in 1614

It was closed in 1642

Actors were all MEN

They used wigs and costumes

Women were not accepted in the theatres as actresses

3200 spectators

Rich People

They sat in the galleries

Poor people (also called the GROUNDLINGS)

They stood in front of the stage
