Other logical reasons

Teens will drink reguardless, they should at least know how to be safe with it.
Once you turn 18, you are legally an adult and recognized as an adult by law.
If they are old enough to vote, use to be able to buy tobacco but that has since been raised to 21, and can enlist in the military, they should be able to buy alcohol.

Cons

Higher risk of making more unsafe settings
Heightened emotions (more fights)
Impaired thinking
Unsafe sex
Impairs their decision making skills
Still not fully developed
Still growing and developing
Kids in high school can drink legally
This means younger people would get more access to alcohol

Gets rid of "Thrill Drinking"

They will get to college and be unsupervised without knowing how alcohol affects them
