Failure is a good thing
Try your best
Always do your best so even your 'worsts' are good
Although there would always be a worst, keep aiming for the top
Since there's always a worse, you should make everything your best so that even your worse is your best (If that makes sense)
If you do a lot of something then there will always be a time where something would be 'the worst'
There will always be a best and worst despite how good or bad you are
Ex. The guy in the essay talks about how he works on newspapers and he always has one newspaper that's worse than the other ones.
Failure is how you learn
Failure gives you credibility
Sharing stories of your failures make you seem more 'human' and it may make people trust you more
If you succeed in everything it wont seem believable
If you fail a lot you'll start learning from your mistakes
If you never fail you will never know what causes failure
After failing a lot you will start learning how to NOT fail
The more you fail, the more you know about the thing you're failing
Think of failing as practice
To fail: you have to do something, if you fail a lot that means you do a lot of what you're doing
Success is boring
Success doesn't teach you anything
You can't teach people how to avoid failure if you never experienced it
You can't learn from your mistakes when you haven't made any
First-time success is usually a fluke.
If you succeed on your first try it seems luck based as you don't know much about the thing you're doing
If it's your first time doing something you should expect to fail at least once
