Restructuring masculinity: how I can make a difference.
Take the time to spread awareness for mens mental health resources and normalizing talking about their feelings and providing them the proper help.
Stop enabling cyberbullying towards men online who show their vulnerability and mental issues
Allow male friends/family to be able to cry to you and open up about personal issues
Normalize open conversation in the workplace, schools, at home, etc.
Work on restructuring internal biases and prejudices.
Stop associating mechanics and altheticism with men
Stop relying on men for the "hard" work/labour
Practice treating men and women equally; don't hold men to a higher standard and vise versa.
Erase the idea of someone "wearing the pants" in a relationship
Don't allow women (especially sisters) to carry the brunt of the responsibilities, balance their responsibilities out
Rewire yourself from assuming "men are just stronger than women" is true
Work on removing the internal assumption that all doctors or lawyers are men
Removing negative terminology from personal vocabulary.
Stop calling men who cry "crybabies" or "wimps" or "sissy"s
Stop telling men to "man-up"
Stop using "you [blank] like a girl"
