Childhood

Little Michael Jordan wasn't always a basketball legend. He was just a regular kid, He grew up in North Carolina and he was super competitive, especially with his older brother, Larry. They'd play basketball all the time in their backyard, and Larry was actually better than Michael at first! This made Michael so mad, because he HATED losing. He'd practice super hard, trying to beat his brother. He even got cut from the basketball team in high school! But instead of giving up, he used that as fuel and practiced even more. That's how he started becoming the Michael Jordan we all know.

Career

Michael Jordan started his career in 1984 and he was not that known he was the 3rd pick in his draft. Michael Jordan first game he was doing very well and he got hyped up so much. Michael Jordan participated it the 1985 slam dunk contest he did his iconic jump man pose which gave him his name air Jordan. He later on created his own shoe line called Jordan which most of you guys should know. Later on in his career he won 6 championships and 5 MVPs and 6 finals MVP. One time Jordan retired to play professional baseball and he was not that good so he switched backed to basketball. Michael Jordan Retired in 2003 right before Lebron James was drafted.
