Some drugs can be addictive thus resulting in use outside of athletic performance.

Could result in adverse health effects for athletes

Unfair Playing Field

Rewarding dangerous behavior

More rewards = more similar behavior

Won't know which athletes are truly the best

More anger exchanged between equally talented athletes

Not all athletes will take the drugs
