It is easier to be racist or judgmental online than IRL because all it takes is a click of a button to hurt someone. ~SADIE

What you post on social media sites stays there forever; even if you delete it, it is still view-able. If you regret fighting for certain things from time to time then social network activism is not for you. -Justin

What's great about "the new face of activism"is that you don't need to be big or famous to get noticed. -Justin

If someone is sending online threats to you, you could always block their profile(effective, but they could make another one). -Justin

Another good thing about online activism is that you can be a random person who has suffered from something like sexual harassment who can stand up without being identified~SADIE

Online activism gets more views. Unlike regular activism, people can see it from all over the world in a couple of clicks. -Ellia

What does the author mean by digital activism? How does this form of activism differ from activism in the traditional sense?

It is different than traditional activism because it is a faceless version of activism. Anybody can be an online activist it does not have to just be a professional activist. ~SADIE
