Evidence

Diverse views, opinions, and experiences recorded, creating a very inclusive and detailed portrayal of the pandemic.

The recency of the issue means there are so many sources, especially primary sources recounting the events.

The Ethical Dimension

Different views on masks/vaccines - anti-maskers & anti-vaxxers.

Reflecting on the way different countries governments responded and if they correctly handled their responsibilities.

The belief of some that the whole virus was a hoax.

Cause and Consequence

Tensions and consequences both positive or negative regarding international relationships.

The disputed cause of the pandemic originating from a bat in China.

Historical Significance

Shed light on different countries’ governments and their efforts or lack thereof towards their countries

Many deaths and ill people all over the world

Many small businesses and marginalized households were impacted economically.

Resulted in drastic international change in everyday procedures to promote safety

Impacted the world’s economy drastically

Continuity and Change

Previous epidemics/pandemics had different methods of coping, different cures and medicines. This is a change from any other pandemic.

COVID-19 is still continuous to this day, the only thing that changed was the production of vaccines

Resulted in an economic and world population change
