The Effects of Changes in Warfare in World War One

At Sea

Torpedos, which were a deadly weapon first used by the germans to sink ships unsuspectingly

Submarines, were introduced and used to sneak up and sink ships

Dreadnoughts, were armoured ships with huge guns on them

In the Air

Subtopic

Zeppelins, were used germans to do huge bombing raids in Britain

Planes, they were used to search for troops but by the end they were used to drop bombs

On the Ground

Hand held weapons, such as flame throwers that were introduced by the German army

Vehicles, such as tanks they were unreliable but helpful to cross no mans land

Artillery, such as anti aircraft guns.
